The Faculty of Fine Arts, Basra University, Department of Art Education held a ceremony to mark International Women's day, and the ceremony, which was held in the Central Theater Hall at the Faculty of Fine Arts, included reading any of the wise male and the national anthem, and then a speech by the assistant dean for Administrative Affairs, A.Dr. Abdul Sattar Abdul Thabet al-Baydani and then a speech to the head of the Department of art education M.Dr. Salah Naama Abdelali who valued the role of women through their dedication and service for the benefit of society.
After that, a theatrical painting entitled The bright light was presented under the supervision of M.M Abdul Qahar Raih Ali and the play Stolen Dreams supervised by M.Dr. Jassim Mohammed turned around.
Then he honored the teaching and professional staff of the women's art education department, as well as the students participating in the performances and organizing the festival.
